Learn about me at work

Why I do what I do…

Since I was a child, my father taught me the importance of staying debt free, keeping consistent savings habits, and the importance insurance plays in one’s true financial security. He was diagnosed with Multiple Scleroses before I was born and has since been denied different insurances based on his pre-existing conditions for anticipated medical needs.  Growing up watching his health deteriorate, to where he was unable to work; yet, still needing income as his expenses increased, catapulted me into financial planning, and ultimately taking charge of my parent’s financial affairs.  I learned that expected expenses in life require continual income whether you are working or not, and unexpected expenses require adequate savings.  Both deserve thoughtful planning to ensure true financial security and independence.

I enjoy working with…

Business owners, as part of their extended executive team, administering retirement plans; and open minded individuals who value strategic, systematic savings in varied tax favored accounts.

My education consists of...

A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Texas at Austin.

Before M&M, I...

Spent 5 years specializing in insurances, annuities, government benefit programs, social security benefits, Medicare, and mutual funds.

I chose M&M because...

I could advance my career by properly servicing businesses’ retirement plans with absolute transparency, prudency, and defined fiduciary integrity.

The best part about my career is...

Introducing people to advanced strategies in order to achieve their financial aspirations that foster’s clients’ trust through designed portfolio growth and sustainability approaches.

The best piece of financial advice I have received is...

A penny saved, is a penny earned. If you watch your pennies, the dollars will come! Compounding concepts can create exponentially increasing interest.  Those who understand it, earn it, and those who do not, pay it!

My life outside of work

My family includes…

My parents, uncles, aunts, brothers, cousins, nephews, nieces, and all their growing families.

In my free time, you can find me...

Out in nature, taking advantage of great weather, staying active, and enjoying cuisine.

I’m passionate about...

Helping people out with life advice, listening to their concerns, and snowboarding!

My favorite quote is...

“What is a cynic? A man who knows the price of everything, and the value of nothing. And a sentimentalist, my dear Darlington, is a man who sees an absurd value in everything and doesn’t know the price of any single thing.”

  • Oscar Wilde

If I could meet anyone, past or present, it would be...

My grandparents who past before I was born.

My favorite food is...

BBQ Brisket and Beef Rib, because I’m Texan!

My hidden talent is...

Overcoming adversity.
